The much awaited elephant safari starts off in the afternoon, leading the visitors through glowing green countryside. The safari ends at Vilangankunnu with a village fair and folk art display.
The second day is reserved for sightseeing and shopping in Cochin. A special sunset cruise rounds off the day.
Visitors can laze on the Alleppey backwaters on the third day. The visitor can try a short ride in the Snakeboats in the company of traditional rowers.
The afternoon explodes into excitement with the snake - boat race. Boat races are very much a part of the festivities in Kerala. The  Nehru Trophy boat - race on the 2nd Saturday of August every year, is an eagerly awaited event.

The fourth morning find the visitors on the fabled Kovalam beach. It is the best beach in India. Enjoy the luxury of its sun and surf through short rides on elephants. Or prefer to simply lie on its golden sands. Arrive at the festival venue in Trivandrum for the grand finale.
